INTERDISCPLINARY AND MULTIDISCPLINARY CURRICULUM

We deliver our lessons using international best practices using strategies in differentiation and
scaffolding for each student to benefit.

OUR CURRICULUM

Englebert School delivers the GES National Curriculum from Primary 1 to JHS3.The new GES Syllabus is a comprehensive one, that requires the delivery of the curriculum to be Child Centered. It stipulates the adoption of teaching pedagogies that stretch the child and develops their Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills in line with international education trends. Our JHS3 students then go on to sit the BECE to gain entrance into leading Senior High Schools in the country.

More about us

Since our arrival at Englebert School the new management team has sort to build on what is good and introduce new processes and structures that will bring Englebert up to the highest standards. Our aim is to create a learning environment that serves the needs of all our pupils, instills self-discipline, self-motivation and a love of learning at this early stage of their educational journey.

A child that has been taught to think for themselves, to reason in a logical way when faced with a problem, can think for themselves and solve any problems that they are presented with.

Admissions

Englebert School welcomes admissions from all sections of the local community and further afield. Those parents seeking admission to the school for their wards will be invited to meet the School Administrator for a general discussion of the pupil’s educational needs. They will then complete an Application Form, along with a Medical Declaration Form. All pupils looking to join us must sit age-appropriate Academic Assessment Tests in English, Mathematics and on occasion Science. Based on those results we are able to admit them to the school, (providing we have capacity in the appropriate class) Parents/ Guardians will be required to pay the relevant admission fees, along with the school fees prior to their wards starting with Englebert School.
Information on uniforms, books, and key dates will also be provided at this stage. Englebert School runs in line with the guiding principles of the Christian Faith, whilst welcoming pupils from diverse religious backgrounds. Our School Calendar reflects this in terms of Religious Holidays and Term Dates.
