Shaping Young Minds

Since our arrival, at Englebert School the new management team has sort to build on what is good, eliminate those practices that were not working and introduce new processes and structures that will bring Englebert up to the highest standards. Our aim is to create a learning environment that serves the needs of all our pupils, instills self-discipline, self-motivation and a love of learning at this early stage of their educational journey.
A child that has been taught how to memorize and repeat answers to questions will pass those exams to which he/she remembers the answers. A child that has been taught to think for themselves, to reason in a logical way when faced with a problem, can think for themselves, and solve any problems that they are presented with.
This skill, unlike memorizing, will stay with them for life and not fade with time. These are the thinkers and leaders of the future. Our aim to shape young minds and create fully rounded individuals. Arming them with all the tools they to go into the digital world with a since of self-worth, vision, community and a lifelong passion for learning and rising those around them up in the common purpose of  doing good for humanity.

A school based on Christian ethos that welcomes pupils of all faiths into an environment of understanding, inclusion, and respect for all. We welcome you all to the Englebert School Family.

Mrs. Juliana Storey

Executive Head of School

Why Choose Us

Our teacher to student ratio stands at 1:14 which compares very favourably with the Ghanaian national average of 1:27(World Bank 2019)
70% of our teachers hold a teaching degree and are fully qualified educators. The remaining 30% hold their first degree and are in the process of acquiring their professional teaching qualification. Again this if far above the national average.
100% Pass Rate compared to the national average of 93% (source WAECE 2021)
Candidates always get placed in their schools of choice particularly in their first choice schools such as: ACHIMOTA SENIOR HIGH, PRESBY BOYS – LEGON, MFANTSIPIM, ADISADEL COLLEGE, ST. AUGUSTINES, WESLEY GIRLS, HOLY CHILD,MFANTSIMAN, ST ROSES, ABURI GIRLS, ACCRA GIRLS, ST. THOMAS AQUINAS
What this means is that all our pupils receive excellent care, teaching and coaching at all times due to the excellent teacher: student ratio and our highly qualified and motivated teaching team. This is evidenced by our JHS3 BECE Results.
